Preparing in advance to use BOSS TONE STUDIO for KATANA Gen3
- BOSS TONE STUDIO for KATANA Gen3 must be used in combination with KATANA System Program Ver.1.06 or later.
- Before you use BOSS TONE STUDIO for KATANA Gen3, the appropriate USB driver for the product you’re using must be installed on your computer.
Downloading and unarchiving the compressed file
- Read the Software License Agreement at the bottom of this screen and tick the "I Agree..." checkbox.
- Click the "Download" button to download the installer.
- Double-click the file to unzip it if the file is not already unzipped.

Installing the app
- Double-click "BOSS TONE STUDIO for KATANA Gen3 Installer (.pkg)" in the unzipped folder.
- The installer starts. Follow the on-screen instructions to install.
Launching the app
- Use a USB cable to connect the KATANA to your computer, and then turn on the power of the KATANA.
*Do not use a USB cable that is designed only for charging a device. Charge-only cables cannot transmit data. - Go to Launchpad or Application/BOSS/KATANA folder and double-click "BOSS TONE STUDIO for KATANA Gen3 (.app)".
