If you'd like to redo the ME-80's settings from scratch, you can use the following procedure to clear the internal memory and reload its factory settings:

Caution: All USER information will be lost. Be sure to back up any information you wish to keep.

1. Turn on the ME-80. 

2. Press the MEMORY/MANUAL pedal to switch to Manual Mode. (In Manual Mode, the ME-80's display is blank.)

3. Press and hold the EDIT button and then press the MOD pedal - "FA" appears in the display.

4. Release the EDIT button and the MOD pedal, and then press the WRITE button.

5. Press WRITE again - "FA" flashes briefly and then the display goes dark. The reset is complete.
