The On-board Expression pedal of the GT-10 can be used to control a number of different parameters. Use the following steps to set up the EXP pedal so it controls the On/Off function of the Tuner:
With this set up, the Tuner will be activated when the EXP pedal is in the "heel back" position.

1. Choose a User patch to edit.

2. Press the MASTER/PEDAL FX button.

3. Press the CURSOR left or right (< >) button to select the CTL/ASSIGN icon.

4. Press the CATEGORY/ENTER button. The ASSIGN screen appears in the display.

5. Press CURSOR L/R to select an unused Assignment (1-8).

6. Press MASTER/PEDAL FX to turn the assignment
"On".

7. Press CURSOR down once to select "Target".

8. Turn the VALUE dial to select "TUNER."

9. Press CURSOR down twice to "MIN."

10. Turn the VALUE dial clockwise to select "On"

11. Press CURSOR down once to "MAX."

12. Turn the VALUE dial to select "Off."

13. Press CURSOR down once to "SOURCE."

14. Turn the VALUE dial to select "EXP1 PEDAL."

15. Press CURSOR down once to "SRC MODE."

16. Turn the VALUE dial to select "MOMENT."

17. Press CURSOR down once to "ACT. RANGE LO."

18. Turn the VALUE dial to select "0."

19. Press CURSOR down once to "ACT. RANGE HI"

20. Turn the VALUE dial to select "127"

NOTE: By default, the expression pedal controls volume in most of the patches. To turn this off, follow these steps:

1. Press the MASTER PEDAL/FX button.
2. CURSOR to the PDL FX icon.
3. Press CATEGORY/ENTER.
4. Press CURSOR left to select page 1.
5. Press CURSOR down to select "EXP 1 Func."
6. Turn the F4 knob counterclockwise to select "OFF."

When the EXP pedal is in the "heel back" position, the TUNER will activate.

When you're finished, press WRITE twice to save your new settings in the patch.
