The following is a list of available external footswitch functions for the DR-880:

START

STOP

RESET

START/STOP - Pattern/song playback will alternately
start or stop each time you press the foot switch. Playback will start from the point at which it was
stopped.

RST+STA/STP - Pattern/song playback will alternately
start or stop each time you press the foot switch. Playback will start from the beginning of the pattern
or song.

TAP TEMPO - You can input Tap Tempo by pressing
the foot switch at the desired interval.

LOOP - Turns on/off the LOOP function.

PTN/SNG INC - Switches the pattern or song of the
next number.

PTN/SNG DEC - Switches the pattern or song of the
preceding number.
* If you press the switch while a pattern or song is playing, the next selected pattern or song will start playing after the current pattern or song has finished playing.

G.FX ON/OFF - Switches the guitar effect on/off.

G.FX Pt. INC - Switches the effect patch to the next
number.

G.FX Pt. DEC - Switches the effect patch to the previous
number.

FAVORITE 1–4: The same function as pressing FAVORITE
1–4 buttons.

FAVOR. INC - Switches to the next FAVORITE registration.

FAVOR. DEC - Switches to the previous FAVORITE registration.

FAV.BNK.INC - Switches to the next FAVORITE bank.

FAV.BNK.INC - Switches to the previous FAVORITE bank.

BANK 1, 2, or 3 / PAD 1-20: Triggers the currently assinged sound on the pad.
Move the cursor to “V” and specify
the velocity (1–127) at which the
sound is to be played.
